Egypt

1-         The ever increasing converts from the Muslim back­ground, to be given more freedom to proclaim their faith, not yielding to pressure. And for safety of all Christians.

The      Biblical teaching to be kept pure, and effective. And for continued impact of the satellite T.V. Christian programs in bringing many to Christ and glorifying His name.

  3. Praise for the unhindered ministry of Christian publications, that it may continue. And for improvement of economic hardship that it may not lead to straying away from Biblical faith.

Jordon

1. Freedom & legalization to convert to Christianity in Jor­dan . and for the safety of converts. Pray for continued prolection for King Abdullah and his regime. Praise for the continued peace in Jordan .

2. Praise for the recent funding to build the new seminary campus of Jordan Evangelical Theological Seminary (JETS). Pray for construction lo be completed and for pro­tection. safety and integrity of JETS faculty and students.

3. For Jordan to continue as a major training center for many Arab pastors especially those from Iraq . Pray for revival in the five evangelical denominations, and for the prison ministry.

Libya & Sudan

The evangelism services in El-Shamaleya in the north of Sudan , in Khartoum, & Nouba mountains, as well as in die South, to continue effectively. Praise for the peace Hears dial is holding between the south & North of Sudan and Darnir. Praise for the first center to teach the "Fur" language and the new Bible available in that language. Praise for the first Christian  radio station in die Darfur region. Pray that it will bring many to Christ. Pray for more laborers, and for their  safety. Praise for die continued open door in Libya. Pray for Pastor Clement and his effective church and prison ministry in Trip­oli . Pray for the many home meetings and the church in Ben-Ghazi. and its Pastor Magdy and for the Youth &. Women retreats to continue in blessing many.

Algeria & Morocco

Praise & thanksgiving for the continued growth of the be­lievers in Algeria , who number over 100.000. Pray for more freedom of worshipping & more churches to be built. Pray also for the new penalty law imposed on evangelism to Muslims, that it will not hinder the work in Algeria . Encouragement & protection for all Algerian pastors and esp. to Pastors Mohammed & Mahmoud. Pray for a school of Theology to be permitted.

More freedom lo worship in Morocco . Prayer support for the translation and publishing of the New Testament in the Berber-Moroccan dialect. For protection & effectiveness of brother Hassan and his ministry.

Holy Land  

1-Praise and thanksgiving for the Book and evangelism ministries of brother Bassam Ben Nora in Bethlehem. Pray that these ministries will grow throughout the Holy Land .

2-Resumption of peace and moderation between the Palestinian and Israeli governments. Pray for special protection to the members of both governments & for peaceful solution for the Palestinian-Israeli straggle.

3-Praise & thanksgiving for the church in Gazza and for the reopening of the Bible Society bookstore, despite many threats. Pray for special protection to all Christians and for a true spiritual revival in the Holy Land.

Iraq

1-Praise for the formation of the first organization to do the work of the Evangelical Synod. Praise for the hundreds of new converts that joined the churches. Pray for the safety of the new government and especially president Jalal Talabani.

2-Protection and safety to all believers in Iraq esp. for Pastors Ghassan Thomas, Nabil Sara and Maher Fouad in Baghdad and for Pastor Haytham Jazrawi in Karkuk. Pray for the work in Kurdish northern Iraq, and the churches in Karkuk & Sulaymania.

3-Wisdom for the churches to handle the uneasy transportation rules. For availability of gasoline and all other utilities including electricity.

Syria

1-Praise & thanksgiving for the true spiritual revival that is occurring in Aleppo, Hasakeh. and in the northeast near the Iraqi border. Pray for Pastors Solomon Awabdeh in Aleppo, and Habib Khalouf in Lattaqieh.

2-More Christian workers to be sent especially into Damascus. Pray also for growth of the ministry into other needy areas. Continuous prayer support for all present Christian workers. Esp for Pastor Edward Awabdeh and his wife, in view of the magnitude of the service in Damascus. Pray also for the Christian medical ministry to increase.

Lebanon

1.The evangelistic crusades in & outside the churches to continue growing, and to bring lasting fruits. Pray for the spirit of revival that is happening hi many places in Lebanon to continue and increase.

2. The new evangelism centers and new churches in Lebanon to persevere and become more effective. Esp. for the new evangelism center in Bourj Hammoiid of the Free Evangelical Church & the new Talaqui Church, and for expansion of the work in the Bekaa Vallev.

3. For stability on the political economical & safety fronts. Pray also for die relationship with Syria to improve. And for agreement among all parties in the matter of presidency of the republic.

USA

1. Praise for the improvement of Christian ethics including a drop in crime, drag use, abortions and number of children born to teenage mothers. Pray that all new Christian ap­pointees to the supreme court will continue improving that trend.

2.    Pray that churches in America will increase their focus to reach Arabs & Muslims with the Gospel. Pray for purification in the churches in America to prepare them for that outreach, both here and overseas.

3.    Pray for all Arab ministries in America , including TV. literature, internet and radio to be effective both here and overseas.
